I left off from the camping ground and headed towards the city of Mölln, where I bought breakfast and sandwich to save for lunch from a bakery. Mölln is a small city, but there lots of opportunities to buy supplies. It is also quite beautiful, located in a nice area, and I would definitely like to visit it again.

I headed south out of the city, turned east between Lüttauer See and Drüsensee, where I followed the path of the abandoned railroad of Mölln – Hollenbek (German) to Lehmrade. After Lehmrade the old railroad is now replaced by a section of road for about 1 km, until the road turns to the right, and a small path continues straight ahead.

I decided to follow the path, but it was clear that is was barely used by anyone anymore, and it was completely overgrown already in early May for the first 200 m. After that, the path is going through forest, where it is easier to make your way forward.

Unless you really like challenges, you might be better off taking a southern detour via the small village of Kehrsen.

After clearing this stretch, I took a small rest before heading on and reaching Seedorf, where I granted myself an ice cream at the local inn.

I took the path south on the western bank of Schaalsee, which was heavy with mosquitoes, before reaching Groß Zecher and the camping ground Camping Schaalsee. It is a midsized camping ground, but no shop, and the closest place to buy supplies is in the city of Zarrentin.

There is a restaurant in Groß Zecher, which looked quite nice, but I was exhausted and just cooked something on my Trangia, before going down to the lake to enjoy the sunset and dip my mosquito bitten feet.
